Sakarya Gas Field Development Project was developed in line with the National Energy Targets of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkey, in cooperation with the Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) through oil and natural gas exploration activities. It is aimed to extract the natural gas discovered in the Sakarya Gas Field and the natural gas reserves to be discovered in the ongoing exploration, to transmit them to land, and to process them and supply them to the national grid. The Sakarya Gas Field Seabed Production Facilities, Seabed Transmission Lines and Onshore Natural Gas Processing Facility Integrated Project is an offshore and onshore project that will transport natural gas extracted from the Black Sea to Filyos on the northern coast of Turkey via a 155 km pipeline.
